MemoLiving at Cairnwath were Andrew Scott, 20, and his wife Margaret, also 20. They were both born in Dumfriesshire circa 1821. Andrew was an agricultural labourer. Being only 20 in 1841 suggests the were young teenagers when son Andrew was born in 1835 which may explain why son Andrew lived with his grandmother in 1841.
