Thomas Hart Aitken, younger brother of my grandfather James Hudson Aitken was a solder in the New Zealand Army during the first World War. He served in France but visited the Argent family in Essex at least once during that time. According to my mother Jean Whaite (Janet Argent Aitken) her aunt Emma was very keen on Thomas. Thomas sent at least one post card to the Argent family but addressed to Albert not Emma.3544
