MemoThe only Sarah Jones Baptised in Montgomery with 3 years found of indicated birth in census so a very good chance this was correct date and parents. John is recorded as father’s name and Mother Mary. Notes for Edward & Sarah (Family)
Marriage notes
At Saint Michael. The marriage index has husband as David not Edward but parish records confirm Edward. The marriage certificate shows Edward as David but signing mark as William. He was of full age, a brazier from Furnace and his father was William. Sarah JONES was a minor, spinster from Stone. Her father was recorded as John Jones. The witnesses were Thomas Aitkin & May Thornby. Original parish record has Edward’s name correct and is in same hand as certificate.
