Notes for John (Spouse 1)
The John Stevens who married Ann Adams according to 1841 census was not born Nottinghamshire but born circa 1806 not 1802. Therefore there is some doubt that John, born 1802 is the one who married Ann. The census of 1841 shows John & Ann with John’s occupation as chimney sweep.

As other researchers have John, son of Edward Stevens and Mary Walker married to Ann Adams as the John and family shown here.

Notes for John & Ann (Family)
Is this Branch that of the family of John Stevens (born 1802) and Ann Adams? The birth date of John in 1841 census is within the limits of recording in 1841. This John is the only one married to an Ann found in 1841. However the apparent daughter Mary Ann born prior to 1830 is of concern.

Other researchers have John living in Long Row but his age doesn’t fit and where is Ann. Also suggested by others is Samuel born circa 1831 being a son of John and Ann. Nothing has been found that fits this.

Research of this tree is quite detailed and accurate within itself but whether it is a Branch of John Stevens and Ann Adams is not certain.
