Notes for Samuel (Spouse 1)
There are 2 Samuels in 1841 census.

The first married to Elizabeth DARBYSHIRE as Samuel WHITE. He was almost certainly born as WHITE, circa 1800 and his children, baptised Manchester Cathedral were all WHITE surname. He is not Samuel WHAITE as shown here. See separate tree under Samuel WHITE. These may be the parents of John Whaite, who died in South Australia in 1892 but proof of this connection has not been found to date.

The second as recorded here married to Sarah MOSELY have in 1841 a George Mosly, age 15 living with them who was a Brother of Sarah. Samuel’s son George, whose mother was Sarah HYDE, resides with this family.
