Monumental Inscription reads " - Here rest in silent and peaceful repose all that was mortal of Elizabeth, daughter of George and Betsy BAXTER and of George, son of John and Mary WHAITE of Manchester, the former of whom died April 29th 1789 aged 11 months and the latter June 19th 1801 aged 2 years and nine months. Dear Brother and Sister George,
Your son my dear and everto be regretted George was taken to the bosom of his gracious and merciful God this morning early ...hoped he would have gratefully remember his Uncle and his mother, as he called his Aunt. We intend to bury him close by the side of our dear little girl, his cousin Bess. We will preserve his dear corpse till Wednesday or Thursday if Brother can come over.
