Mentioned will Grandfather Humphrey ""I give and bequeath unto John Clayton my grandchild and unto his heirs for ever all my messuage ot tenement with all my customary Landes tenements and hewditaments in Warsop in the County of Nottingham which I had by surrender from William Beely late of Whaley in the County of Derby husbandman and all other my landes and hewditaments in Warsop I have by mortgage from William Beely of Warsop aforesaid Butcher and Henry Sillett of the same towne Butcher and alsoe a debt of eight pounds owing by ye said Henry Sillett upon bond and alsoe twenty shillings owing by the said Henry Sillett being part of a court _ provided that if the said Henry Sillett shall redeemeth the mortgage within the time expressed in the termse of redemption then I give unto my said grandchild John Clayton the monies which there upon shalbee found to bee due from the said Henry Sillett Alsoe I give unto my said grandchild fourteen pounds which is owing by Robert Clay of Gleadthorpe in the County of Nottingham Yeoman upon bond Also a bedstead and a feather bed which was bought at Whitwell and alsoe a paire of Linen sheetes pillowcases and a standerd supping pann Alsoe I give and bequeath unto my grandchilde George Clayton two hundred pounds of good and lawful money of England to be paid unto him when he shall accomplish the full age of one and twenty years Also the chest that I most made use of also a supping pann Also a paire of sheetes of Linnen and a pillowbeere"
