Notes for Norris Cartali Du VAL
"Novies Duval" was a passenger on the vessel Oruba, that arrived in Sydney on 22 December 1890. Norris Duval, aged approximately 53, sailed on the ship Medic from Liverpool to Sydney on 7th June 1909. His occupation was then given as "India rubber". 

In the Sydney Morning Herald on Saturday 2 June 1917 there was a law report of bankruptcy proceedings being brought against a ‘C Simmons’ by Norris Duval and Charles Allen Duval trading as Duval and Co. 

The younger son Norris Duval died in Sydney in 1913.

The elder son Charles Allen Duval was married in New South Wales in 1912 to Helen Agnes Anderson, daughter of Charles Anderson. She died in 1983 aged 99 years. In 1937 Charles Allen Duval died in Woollahara, Australia.

In 1933 a NORRIS CHARLES [sic] DUVAL died in Rose Bay, Woollahara, Australia, aged 80 years. It is believed he is buried there with his two sons.”11393
