NameMary Ann PAINTER
Birth Date6 Nov 1809
Birth PlaceCamden, London, England
MemoDate of birth from baptism record. The location given from 1851 census is of some concern as the family appear to be entirely London based around Holborn and that is where Mary Ann was Baptised. An explaination for this is found if Sussex was her normal abode, not her birth place. If this is so she was in Sussex for both the 1861 and 1871 census and died in 1880. See entered death index.

MemoLiving at 14 Little Wild Street with he father and brother Thomas and family. Mary Ann’s age given as 32 rather than 42 and birth location given as Sussex which seems unlikely as baptised in London. See later census entries showing Mary Ann Painter born in Camden but resident in Sussex. It seems likely this is her!
