Notes for Charles PARKER
As a very young child, probably circa 1951, I went by car with my grandfather James Hudson Aitken to collect a metal lid for an garden incinerator at Bond Street, Mosman. I recall my grandfather talking to the man as he collected the lid. The man, presumably Charles Parker, asked whether grandfather would like a cup of tea. Grand father said no and asked how Edith was. This must have been in Bankstown. It is strange that this is a vivid memory of mine but is very clear in my mind.107
