MemoEliza died some time after Alfred's birth. Oral history records it as being an accident with a sulky in a driveway. There is no official record and it is not known where she was buried although it seems possible that it was in the Methodist Cemetery at Castlereagh since Samuel was a Trustee of the Church there.
