MemoAlice’s grandson Frederick Richard (Dick) was in New Zealand with the Marcus Show and called on Alice. She presented Dick with a cardigan that she had knitted. It was patterned and a egg yoke or mustard colour dominated. Dick never wore the cardigan until the late 1950’s when it was found stored away in a cupboard having been lost for many years. I remember Dad wore it for some years after that at home when visitors called for drinks. It became quite a conversation piece.
