A Charles Wastell Dixey married a Lucy Anderson on 13 December 1821 at Hornsey Rise Islington. The had a daughter Eliza born 1834. Eliza had a youger sister Lilia Matilda Dixey, Matilda being middle name our Eliza later used. However this Eliza was still in London after 1861 so is definitely not the right Eliza. A point worth noting was in the 1861 census Charles Walter Dixey was Optomitist to the Queen.10243
