MemoAt Bead Street. It records his father was Septimus Whaite but mother as Frances Whaite formerly Wignall. Is this Frances Wignall wife of William Wignall and formally Frances Whaite? This is confusing as Septimus was a brother of this Frances perhaps information given by Frances was confused as it show her mark X so she couldn’t write and probably couldn’t read. But why would she be informant and shown as mother.
