Notes for Thomas (Spouse 1)
Early occupation, at time of marriage, as a Smith but later described as a Stricker or hammerman meaning a Smith’s Assistant. Finally he becomes a provision agent as does his wife and son John.
Notes for Thomas & Frances (Family)
Baptisms of all their sons were at the Manchester Cathedral, however no baptism records for their 3 daughters have been found. Supporting that this is correct marriage is found in 1841 census where a Mary Mulvany resided with the Thorps.
