MemoAt Bankside her parents were John Aitken, farmer (deceased) and Christine Mitchell (deceased). cause was Brain suffering cerebral congestion. Informant was cousin Isabella Morrison. She was widow of John Black a marine engineer. Isabella Morrison was daughter of James Aitken & Harriet Ritchie. This fact proves that John Aitken and Lillias Barcly were grandparents of both Isabella Morrison , nee Aitken and Lillias Black, nee Aitken. Lillias died in Bankside which is a street only a few minutes walk from where Isabella lived at 3 Hendry Street.
