Notes for Thomas McBRIDE
In the 1891 census Thomas’ occupation is listed as “Dairy & Provision Merchant” . Could this be a grocer, as the only Thomas found in 1901 that could be him is a “grocer”. Perhaps these descriptions of occupation are the same! If this is correct Elizabeth isn’t residing with Thomas on that census night but a person that fits Elizabeth exactly is in Rothesay in Bute and listed as a wife and “grocer”. Elizabeth is alone on census night 1901.
Notes for Mary Wilson (Spouse 2)
Mary’s Birthday Book is a source of many birth dates of family in the Aitken and Walker lines.
